Introduction
I am sharing with you because I want you to know – you are not alone – even me, a mental health professional, has experienced a lot of adversity in life. I come to this profession with my own lived experience that helps me help you.
My story is one of survival, resilience, perseverance, and ultimately thriving. We are all working on moving forward and I am here to help you get to where you want to be.
I use the theories and techniques proven to move you forward, while drawing from my own healing journey to be informed on what you may be experiencing. Of course, not everyone’s experience is the same, but I can certainly empathize with what you are going through and experiencing helping you to get unstuck.
I come to you with compassion, understanding, and lived experience to meet you where you are and walk by your side through your own unique and personal healing journey. Here is my story, what is yours?
My Story
After years of sitting in an executive office in corporate America, I decided it was time for a life transition — changing careers and using my experience and healing journey to help others, like you, to learn, to cope with stress, and ultimately overcome what you are experiencing.
While the details of these events are not important, the story of the journey is. I won’t sugar coat it and say it was always easy, but the outcome is that of healthy and intentional relationships that require boundaries and presence – creating harmony and understanding.
I would love to offer you the space to experience that in a mental health provider as well. I come to you with an open heart and an open mind.
I tell you my story to give you hope that one can heal and live a fulfilling and meaningful life.
That is my story – what is yours? I am here to listen, assist, and share skills with you on how to be where you want to be and live the life you desire and deserve all from a life lived and a trauma-informed lens.
